Portrait Workshop | November 11th | Honesty at Parkway, Newbury

I have partnered with the local cafe group Honesty to bring art workshops into central Newbury to make art more accessible for the local community. First up will be a one-off day long portrait workshop upstairs in their Parkway cafe.

In this workshop we will begin with some warm up exercises to get us immersed in the basics of portraiture. From there, I will help guide you as you work on a single piece with the aim of having a complete portrait to take away with you.

You are encouraged to bring your own image to work from and are welcome to bring your own materials such as canvasses or your preferred paints/pencils. I will provide image references (if you do not have your own), high quality cold press paper, pencils and acrylic paint to work with.
